Plagued by her villainous father, the notorious Charybdis, and the death of her ex-boyfriend at just 18, Eria runs away from everything she knows in order to pursue a new life. Three years later she lives in a nearby village's tavern, in which she drinks to forget every night. She just wants to forget, about her father, about who she is, and what really happened that night with her ex. But, that all changes when she meets a mysterious half-elf at the tavern one night. Soon, she embarks on a life-changing journey with him and two others she meets along the way. Her quest? To finally take down her father and face her demons that she had tried for so long to avoid.
I wrote this story for a class one year and it was 55 pages long so... thought I'd post it here!

A few seasons ago, I participated in NaNoWriMo with the goal of writing a story a day for the entire month of November. I was able to do this and ended up with well over 50,000 words for the month. This book ended up with around 43K words, but it is missing a few stories. I didn't want to put anything that goes with "Pearls of the Mother" in the "Illogies." Each day I sat down to write, I had a different mood or something else I was thinking about, and I let that guide my writing process. I think a couple of these may end up with follow-on stories or maybe even books of their own. I hope you enjoy these; I know I do.Complete

While rescuing her from bounty hunters, Cypur loses control of his magick, killing a male on accident. Now, police are after him, but he's innocent! Cypur makes a deal with Wescherlie. He will help her find her lost family, and she will help him find proof for innocence. But the journey is filled with dangerous, greedy Sorcerers who want Cypur's magick or who want to turn Wescherlie into taxidermy.
