Plagued by her villainous father, the notorious Charybdis, and the death of her ex-boyfriend at just 18, Eria runs away from everything she knows in order to pursue a new life. Three years later she lives in a nearby village's tavern, in which she drinks to forget every night. She just wants to forget, about her father, about who she is, and what really happened that night with her ex. But, that all changes when she meets a mysterious half-elf at the tavern one night. Soon, she embarks on a life-changing journey with him and two others she meets along the way. Her quest? To finally take down her father and face her demons that she had tried for so long to avoid.
I wrote this story for a class one year and it was 55 pages long so... thought I'd post it here!

My NaNoWriMo novel from November 1st 2016-June 8th 2017 ft. My 2019 self's astute critique. ~~ Miryanna Heolstor is a lady of Terinnia, the niece of the king himself. Ever since she was young she's wanted to follow her father's footsteps and become an ambassador to the land of Fasik. But a new threat is building that will put being an ambassador far from her mind. Her friend Andarin is involved in a secret organization called the Erglis that protects the kingdom from people and organizations who would do it harm. Miryanna wants in. Even if those people and organizations are Karayan Batal and the Vanags. A bloodthirsty group and a passionate and powerful man who's goal is to overtake the land of Terinnia and lay it bare to the hostile Empire of Amani's clutches. Miryanna never thought she'd be butting heads with her kingdom's greatest threat, but while Karayan does his utmost to upset the deffences of her and the Erglis, she does everything in her power to keep his hands off the things she loves, finding a formidable antagonist in the process. Can Miryanna find the strength within her to do all she can for her friends and the land of Terinnia? Or will she become another victim in a power play by an overambitious empire? ~~ Fantasy/adventure, a bit of cringe, a lot of not knowing what I'm doing. I've given my commentary and for once, I want to hear other people's take on this too, but for pete's sake, know what you're talking about before you hit "comment". It is completely unedited. All typos, punctuation mistakes, and questionable grammar is in place. Don't bother with it. That's not important to me, the story and story and world is.Complete

A few seasons ago, I participated in NaNoWriMo with the goal of writing a story a day for the entire month of November. I was able to do this and ended up with well over 50,000 words for the month. This book ended up with around 43K words, but it is missing a few stories. I didn't want to put anything that goes with "Pearls of the Mother" in the "Illogies." Each day I sat down to write, I had a different mood or something else I was thinking about, and I let that guide my writing process. I think a couple of these may end up with follow-on stories or maybe even books of their own. I hope you enjoy these; I know I do.Complete

But when things are taken way too far, Atticus is suddenly running and ends up at the doorstep of an unusual compound that sparks something in his instincts. Taking refuge away from the poison of others, Atticus knew that he couldn't hide forever, but he'd do anything to be left alone so he didn't have to hide anymore. Young new mafia boss, Luciano Moretti, murdered a man that own him money. Alexis couldn't believe her eyes and it was just her luck, that the big bad mafia man saw her and took her with him. WARNING: This has been written by a much younger self in about a month for Camp Nanowrimo, so it is still full of grammar errors and awkward sentences. I haven't gotten around to actually editing it and i probably never will... so ignore the "reviewed and edited" chapters, because they do not really exist.
