The United States of 2033 is almost entirely under the control of a socialist 'democracy' which is well on its way to becoming a single-party dictatorship.  With no hope of returning to constitutional rule, a number of citizens have formed the League of Freeholds, a loosely organized group of enclaves which refuse to surrender to the new order.  Darrell Carter, a cop railroaded into prison for allegedly violating the civil rights of a perpetrator during an arrest, is about to finish his prison sentence.  His life in ruins, he has decided to use his remaining time to track down the corrupt prosecutor and those who destroyed his life, and deliver an appropriate punishment.  Tommy Lancaster, a former cellmate who is member of one of the freeholds, offers him a more interesting alternative.All Rights Reserved
