For an Elf, honour is of the utmost importance. After years of intensive training, Lomelindi is finally ready to enter the fighting arena to prove his worth. But this year, Nuians have been sent to compete against the Elves in these friendly fights. Drawn at random, Lomelindi must reluctantly fight one of them. But when his own arena weapon has been used to fatally poison his opponent, threatening the fledgling alliance between the two peoples, he must prove his innocence at the risk of his life.
