Strigoi, Chronic, Muldoy and Lycans. Species that have been in struggle for dominance for the past thousands of years.
Their war brought chaos to Mankind but Humanity with the help of Witches were able to bring forth strong breeds of warriors to fight these monsters.
The Ascenders. That is what they were called.
Centuries later, the warriors disappeared and now dark forces are rising from the ashes to reclaim what was kept from them.

The Lycan race is dying and there's nothing they can do about it but watch their race die out. Since then they have resided in a cave sleeping until they were disturbed by people roaming around. Awoken in a fit of rage the group of Lycans chased out the humans and killed them. Feeding off of the humans got them their strength back unless the host was sick then they would have to fight off the sickness themselves. They decided that the best way to repopulate their species is to breed any and all women. She finds herself entangled with vampyres and lycans when her boyfriend turns out to be a vampyre and her parentage isn't as average as she thought. She didn't realize the significance of her name wasn't just because of the color of her eyes, but a plan set out by her father to involve her in the war- the war that will change the world if Romulus and Lilith get their way and the existence of their kind is exposed to the humans. This is a dark vampire/lycan/witch romance + action novel (with some magic, some sex, and a lot of blood and gore) that I started writing ten years ago when I was in high school. It started as a darker version of Twilight, but I was influenced strongly by Underworld, Teen Wolf, Bitten, Vampire Diaries, and The Secret Circle. As the first of likely three novels, this is complete (but I will probably edit a hundred more times lol) and I am currently working on the second one! The Photo I used for the cover was taken by Fogbreath in 2007. Elaka had put a protective hidden wall around the kingdom so no one would come in unless brought in by the citizens. There were humans that lived there and their lives were a paradise. And total peace. And there was the Dark land. Where every other creature lived. The three major kingdoms tolerated each other for as long as they could. Years passed without war. Until Elaka suddenly vanished. Without her, the world would become chaotic again. The crystal was lost in the forest. So many have searched for it but never succeeded.
