"What a monster" - bakugou fic

Even since 5 year old bakugou got his quirk he's been hearing so many things being said about him, his family and his quirk.
There's good and bad people in this world,
Heroes
&
Villains
Those concepts are a vague understanding of what society restricts us into believing, but in all honesty...
Who's to say what does and doesn't go.
Can bakugou prove society wrong
Or will he fuck up and let society be proved oh so utterly right..
Quick notes:
• I haven't decided if there will be a ship or not so if there is I will add it here in the description.
• This is set in the present (2022 as I'm starting writing this) so since they are 16 canonically they will be born 2006-2007
• I will be updating fortnightly- I will have up to 5 chapters written before I publish the first chapter so if i remember to publish them I will get them out on time

Broken Mask
Deku got tired of hiding all of his emotions under a mask. Tired of keeping a smile on his face despite being constantly beaten up and ridiculed. He'd kept his mask up for so long that it was fragile as glass. The day it broke was a tragic one for his old "friend" and mother, but became a beautiful opportunity for him. The villains saved him. The villains were his family. The villains helped him put on a different mask. He was getting back at all the people who'd ridiculed him... or was he? This story's events revolve around a girl who was kidnapped when she was just an infant, and both her parents were murdered by mad scientists who worked for an unknown villainous man. She was tortured- scratch that what she experienced was traumatizing for a baby, they took her as a lab rat and ran tests on her. They enhanced her quirk when she turned four and made her a lethal weapon by creating the first quirk made by man in a six-year-old body. Thankfully she ran away and escaped, She was saved and right now under surveillance from the HSPC since she can't control the created quirk. After knowing her parents' cause of death, she vowed she'd never let any child experience what she went through and that's why she wanted to become a hero. To save children, and adults from villains... Yeah and to also put an end to this corrupted hero society. While she was on the path of becoming a hero, she stumbled upon a spikey blond who had the same motives and a rivalry erupted. What would happen between those two? This is a kiribaku story, personally I love this ship so much, I just think they're adorable together. Kirishima has some sort of weird feeling, he can't work out what it is. Bakugou has also been acting weird lately, the whole bakusquad have noticed these two and are starting to get concerned. Will they figure it out? Or continue to shut their feelings out? Bakugo begins to feel inferior and voices whisper inside his head. He has kept up his facade for a while now, making sure there are no imperfections, no way to see through it. But what happens when problems rise to the surface and tip him over the edge? Will he finally open up to people or will he suffer in silence? Trigger warnings/ normal warnings -Self hate -Self harm -depressing thoughts -blackmail -throwing up -bad sleeping habits -swearing(bc it's bakugou ofc) Please note that I'm not in anyway trying to make fun of this stuff nor offend people they are serious issues that people struggle with and if you are struggling with any of these I advise for you to seek help and always feel free to vent in the comments. This story will contain kiribaku(fluff), it will start off platonic and will end romantic, but it will NOT take over the main story its more of a sub plot. Also because kiri will try help Bakugo. Some characters might be out of character at times so I apologise for that. All characters don't belong to me, they belong to horikoshi. The only thing I own is the plot.
