Camille Bryd may sound like an ordinary name but I swear to you she is far from average and certainly not dull haha. She may seem all together on the outside to the world living the picture- perfect life... you know the kind every little girl is taught to imagine in fairytale books where this prince- in this case named Derek Byrd magically shows up out of the blue and whisks Camille away from her childhood traumas and gives her the life everyone thinks they want haha. Camille and Derek create this idea of a perfect life....they have 2 kids of course- a boy Matthew and a girl Cassie...live in the suburbs in the cutest yet biggest house with the white picket fence in the nicest neighborhood... Camille is her kids biggest cheerleader---the stay at home mom-the ultimate housewife-the soccer mom- president of the PTO-drives a suburban and raises the most successful happy kids haha- Camille realizes after 20 plus years of marriage that this fairytale life everyones after is all a farse.. Here's Camille's reality----She wakes up at the age of 40 to a childless house because Matthew and Cassie are both in college pursuing their dreams-- feels so alone and realizes Derek and her have nothing in common with each other anymore.... On the inside Camille is literally dying each and every day from boredom and the routine of having what she thought was a perfect life...she starts falling apart- gains weight- feels unappreciated-her sex life with Derek becomes non existent-hardly talks or sees her kids because they are so busy with their own lives- feels completely lost. Camille realizes that she has no hobbies of her own and never explored a career-her whole past 20 years has revolved only around her family- She desperately feels she needs to find her true happiness within and longs for fun again.... Camille's new vibe-my old life may just need to be dead to me....and so the adventures of Camille's mid life awakening begins and it will be steamy haha
