Casey, a sophomore, is trying to make it through hell, or what most people would call high school. She had always been one of the smartest kids in the grade, and that was a blessing and a curse. The names thrown at her in the hallways, in class, everywhere. Nerd, geek, freak, teachers pet, but nobody could see inside her head, and that not just her body, but her mind was scarred, or black and blue.
She discovers friends, love, and "all that other crap" as she would say.
