This story is about a girl who basically hated her life because of the experiences she had at a very early age. Even though there were a lot of people who left her, there were some who stood by her. But in this Teen fiction when people gave up on there own lives and one another, will Maya would be able to survive it? And even if she will, things will never be the same maybe in a good way but there's no surety of it as it is life only takes a few seconds to change everything. Thomas needed a vacation, but that didn't mean he wanted one. His best friend convinced him to come down to his family's beach house for the summer to unwind, to relax for once. Thomas wasn't swayed easily, but he found himself on a flight to Florida regardless, albeit begrudgingly. Thomas intended to mope around for the three months, drink away his problems, and maybe get a tan in the process. However, his plans were thwarted when an unwanted houseguest from his past arrived the day after his getting there, leaving a bitter tang on the entire "vacation."
