Leandra got a job offer in South Korea as a journalist, not passing up the opportunity, she goes. knowing it's far from home, originally from the U.S. Her friends calling her lucky that she was going to be the one to live the "K-Drama life" , she didn't believe in that though, she was strictly going for work purposes.
