The Whispers of the Gods

Alren is an elf. He is the youngest heir to the Rune family, the most powerful family of sorcerers known to the Nine Realms. However, due to complications at his birth, Alren did not inherit his father's magical prowess. Because of his family lineage, Alren is forced to take part in a tournament featuring the rising protégées of elven kind. With the help of his Professor, and his wood-elven friends, Alren begins to train for the upcoming event.
Little does he know, greater forces are at work, forces of light and dark vying for power, both intending to use Alren as their chosen vessel. With eldritch darkness festering and the forces of life fading, Alren realizes his battle is not only with himself, but with a being far, far more sinister.
