It's the night of James Rowbottom's first AFL Tribunal hearing, and he's not expecting a good outcome. He knew he wanted two of his closest mates and the guys he was drafted with, Nick Blakey and Justin McInerney to be by his side, in celebration or commiseration. He just didn't know that they had neither of those things in mind for that night. Or that the charges of rough conduct, medium impact and high contact would have a whole different meaning by the time they were through with him.
