Kit is a kitten, hence the name. He is a black cat with a sparky and energetic young mind. But his anger issues get the best of him sometimes. Susie is a shy, orange tabby with a quiet personality. They both ran away from the abusive group of strays they call family. They met a few months ago a bit after kit was born and a month after Susie was born. Neither one of them knows the other wants to run away. But after kit fights with his dad, bones, and he feels he has gone to far and Susie going through a depressive episode, they decide to run away from their shit "home", but along their journey lies danger, heartbreak , and a dark past that weighs them down. They plan to head up to the coasts of Maine, where they can roam on the beaches and play in the sand and finally be free. But will it all turn out to plan?
