Emma Rose's earlier years were so miserable it made her adoptive father's heart ache a million times over. That's what she had been told by him but it didn't really affect her, because well, she was an infant and there was no memories to grieve over.

And with no memories to grieve over, she lived with an unbothered mind.

Therefore she grew up with a father figure in a normal flat on the outskirts of London, home schooled, ate decent meals, and doing magical experiments.
