With a sense of urgency, I scrambled out of the water, my heart pounding in my chest. The ground beneath me felt rough and unforgiving as I dropped to my knees in front of the enigmatic stranger. My voice betrayed my fear as I managed to croak out a single question, "Where am I?"

I awaited his response with bated breath, hoping for some reassurance or at least a glimmer of clarity amidst the confusion that engulfed me. But instead, the man merely looked at me, his eyes filled with a sinister gleam. A cruel smile pulled on his lips before he finally spoke.

"Welcome in the land of madness."
