15 years after the Fourth murders in Woodsboro to Los Angeles with Samantha Carpenter and her family soon find themselves caught in the bloodshed of the Ghostface cult after Tera is nearly killed she Samantha her boyfriend Richie and her best friend Sionos seek help from Randy Meeks still a horror director who later calls the gang for help Dewey retired from Woodsboro's finest living in New York with his wife Gale and 11 year old daughter Tatum and Sidney and Derek still living in Chicago raising their twin children but the gang reunite to try and end this bloodbath and the Cult once and for all
