This book is set in fundys pov and this is a high school au as fundy is suffering with his mother's passing (and no Wilbur is not his fauther) as his fauther drinks and hes suffering through depression and anxiety, as for his neighbor, dream he is a popular kid going through alot of the same stuff, but both his parents are abusive and as they meet eachother something clicks and they become friends.
