    Rowan hated Carl Grimes. Carl had everything, including more love from his dad, Shane. Nothing Rowan could do would compare to anything Carl did, including when he did nothing. So Rowan gave up trying, instead doing everything against his dad's wishes. 
    
    And when the world fell apart, nothing changed. His dad had clearly taken Carl and Lori, but not him, leaving Rowan to fend for himself.
    Until he unfortunately has them stumbling back into his much more peaceful life, with one boy in particular that just can't leave him alone.
