Louis and Aimée Cartier are two kids living in four walls of complete nightmare. Ever since their mom overdosed Louis stepped in as the parental figure for Aimée. In Louis's world, his sister was a top priority, even if that meant putting every one of her needs before his. However, he is slowly crumbling under the pressure of trying to protect his sister from the hands of their abusive stepfather whom they've been under the care of for six years.

The other half of their estranged family is living in the next town over are living in complete luxury. After his wife left him Adrien pulled himself together, building an empire of different companies to support his other sons. Every day he misses his two youngest children, that is until police arrest the kid's stepfather and the sibling pair is sent to live with their father and brothers.
