    Leila is a farmer in the 1700s until she is abruptly stolen from her home. Kidnapped by traders, she is taken to the seas and sold under the pretense of being a contract cook. Leila wants nothing more than to get back home, but she doesn't speak the language and every attempt to escape is foiled.
    
    Rather than waste their money, the trappers decide to use Leila as bait to lure out bears and other large predators to be killed and sold. Leila is full of fury at her circumstances only to become too sick to fight back anymore. To get one last use out of Leila before she succumbs to her sickness, the trappers tie her to a tree to lure out The Beast also killing in those woods.
