By the time of 1837, Christian doesn't remain hopeless after the rejection of his third cousin, the current Queen Victoria, and at the same time Alexander, the future tsar shops for a wife, which isn't as different as Victoria marrying her first cousin, Albert, the nephew of her dearest uncle, Leopold I of Belgium. Christian proposes to another third cousin,Louise, whose a year senior but treats him like someone meaningful and deserving.
