Mia Lombardi is a 13 year old girl who does competitive swimming. Her mother "Emily" was married to the Italian ex mafia don. Emily was caught cheating one night by Mia's dad "Antonio". Soon after Emily found out she was pregnant with Antonios daughter.
She was furious and decided to take away the girl the family has wanted for generations. She ran away leaving her seven boys behind.
As Mia grew up Emily abused her mentally and physically. Mia has no idea she has a whole family out there and her family doesn't even know she exists.
What happens when Mia's mom dies in a plane crash, and she is sent to live with her family? Will her family accept her? Will she tell them about her past that haunts her? (Stella means star)

The Mafia's Missing Triplets
The family's mother seemingly ran away 8 months before the triplets were born. Though their family missed her after searching for a year they gave up and realized that she did not want to be found never knowing about the triplets. She had the triplets and gave them away to a kind man and his wife at 6 their father died and their adoptive mother started to bring her boyfriends around. These boyfriends helped their mother become a drug addict and they started the abuse to the young kids. The kids moved around a lot growing up living wherever their mother's boyfriend was living and later with their step-father where the abuse got worse when they were 10 years old. Throughout their lives, the three were abused and tortured in every way. When the triplets are 15 their mother and step-father are killed leaving the triplets alone and after a DNA test by social services, they get sent to their father and brothers meeting them for the first time.
