"I made a mistake falling for someone like you," she said, tears streaming down her face. She was dressed in her bridal gown, but she looked anything but happy. It was her wedding day, yet excitement and joy were absent from her eyes. In her hand, she clutched a crumpled letter.
"Now, I will punish myself," she said, wiping her tears away and finally giving up on her one-sided love. Guests were waiting outside for the bride to come down, unaware of the turmoil inside her heart.
"Bina mile hi ishq hua tumse aur bina mile hi sab khatam hogaya." She walked out of her room, her eyes vacant, devoid of any emotion. It seemed as if the world had lost all its brightness in the face of her sorrow.

"I know what I did was wrong, but that doesn't give you the right to leave me!" he shouted, trapping her between himself and the sofa.
"Maira, don't forget that I can go to any extent to make it up to you, but seeing you with someone else is something I can't tolerate," he whispered in her ear, making her shiver with fear.
"Please, don't judge my love for you by my actions. I truly love you more than anything. It breaks my heart to see you sad, especially when I know I'm the cause. Please, forgive me," he said, wrapping her in a tight hug. She felt something wet against her back. For the first time, he was crying in front of her.
She didn't know what to do or say. His words and actions had left her numb. Gathering all her strength, she pushed him away. Three words escaped her lips, words that shattered his mind and broke his sanity. "I want a divorce."
