In the prestigious halls of Everdeen High, where brilliance and ambition converge, Heavenly Monstrell stands as a beacon of promise. But as fate would have it, the commencement of their retreat unveils a harrowing tale of survival.

Left stranded by their bus, Heavenly and their companions find themselves thrust into the realm of the enigmatic Supreme Council, guardians of the school's sanctity. Known for their prowess and aloofness, the Council becomes an unexpected ally in a world suddenly besieged by chaos.

Returning to the city, they are met with a sight straight from nightmares: streets painted with blood, and the populace reduced to silent, haunting figures. The once-familiar landscape now morphs into a battleground, as the infected descend upon their vehicle with primal fury.

It becomes chillingly clear: a viral scourge has devoured the city during their absence, leaving naught but despair and uncertainty in its wake.
