As an archaeologist on a new dig, I unearthed a thick pane of glass. Gently brushing away the dirt, I revealed the interior of a colossal biodome, hidden away for what seemed like an eternity, intended to be forgotten. ....... "W-what are y-you?" I stammered as the creature inside stirred, moving closer to me. "Something humanity feared too much to remember," it replied, its tail sliding ominously across the ground. My eyes filled with tears, convinced that this would be my end. "Don't worry, love. You freed me from that prison, and now, I owe you a debt," it whispered, its voice sending chills down my spine. "H-how?" I choked out, now openly crying. "Oh, love, don't cry. While I relish seeing humans in pain, I don't want to see you suffer. I'm going to keep you all to myself."
