"Once upon a time, when being a witch or a wizard was still very much in fashion, there lived a young witch in a little house on Pendra lake. Truth be told, she wasn't really very good at her witchcraft, and nobody really bought her spells because half the time they wouldn't really work. But she was a witch nonetheless, and she lived in a little house on Pendra lake." Diana's magic is unpredictable at best, and utterly useless at worst. But when the King takes ill with a mysterious sickness, and every respectable Witch and Wizard has vanished overnight, It's up to her to cure the King, solve the whodunnit and save the kingdom. Faced with angry brownies, counterfeiting goblins, and accompanied by the very charming and handsome prince Louis "Listless" Ignacio IV and a neurotic elf, Diana sets of on an adventure far beyond her magic capabilities (and her paygrade). But a plot is rapidly unfolding. One that has been decades in the making, and is entirely reliant on Diana's downfall.
