Time doesn't heal all wounds.....

Left behind to pick up the pieces of the massacre, the worse is far from over. Eileen, despite her rough start, hopes to win over Etta and the other chiefdom with her kind and compassionate nature while Ursus still wrestled with the guilt of losing his sibling. But the history between the provinces is bloodied with betrayal, leaving the mission to getting Etta accepted as chieftain seemingly impossible.

Back at the capital, Prince Pavel is on his own mission. Someone on the council is a traitor with actions threatening to grow the tensional divide instead of easing it. And when secrets that should remain bury start to surface, so do the murdered bodies.
