Destructive Passion

Mia is a young woman who is making the most of her time at university. Between drinking parties and one-night stands, she seems to be living the life many dream of. But happiness keeps eluding her. Plagued by sickly jealousy and a profound lack of self-confidence, Mia has never been able to find serenity. What's more, she's gradually drifting away from her ultimate goal: finding love.

Ryan, for his part, aspires to something completely different. In a few years' time, he sees himself with a well-paid job and married to a woman with whom he'd enjoy a solid friendship. Love, in his view, is just a naive feeling, destined to cause inevitable heartache. Yet, while he seems to be getting closer to his goal every year, he still feels a deep emptiness.
