Oliver Monroe is a troubled kid. With his mother dying when he was five and his subsequent getting passed from home to home like a hot potato, he had to figure out how to act by himself.

No one else ever did anything for him, not for his benefit, at least. So, he took matters into his own hands.

When he heard about a crime-fighter known as Spider-Man- well, he became a bit of a fan.
