Eliza Rookwood, daughter of infamous Death Eater, Augustus Rookwood, didn't have a choice when Bellatrix Lestrange and Narcissa Malfoy arrived at her family home, relaying her future to her.

She was to assist Narcissa's son, Draco Malfoy, recently now sporting the Dark Mark, in his tasks from the Dark Lord himself, in fixing a Vanishing Cabinet to let Death Eater's into Hogwarts and to murder their Headmaster. All to prove to their Dark Lord that both their Fathers were worthy of being released from Azkaban prison.

One tiny catch, if Draco Malfoy cannot proceed with his tasks; Eliza Rookwood would have to take over which would earn her the lovely dark on her forearm-the Dark Mark.

Eliza knew this would be hard-she and Draco Malfoy were not friends, it would be difficult to co-operate, especially for something so important. And especially when they have been ordered to pretend as if nothing is going on, meaning they could not be friends in the public eye.

But, when a romance sparks up, how much more difficult will it get when they are forced into a life of evil Wizardy and supporting the Dark Lord?
