⚠️🔞⚠️ It's difficult being bisexual, torn between choices. It's even harder when your parents are against the LGBTQIA+ community. But we shouldn't have to change who we are to align with our parents' preferences or because they disapprove. We should be true to ourselves, unapologetically. Though my parents aren't against LGBTQIA+, there's something I used to do that they strongly disapprove of. It was through this activity that I met a man I never expected to fall deeply in love with. I'm grateful my parents are open-minded, but unfortunately, his parents are not. Dealing with traditional parents is challenging; for them, only two genders exist-male and female. Other identities simply don't exist in their worldview, not even in their vocabulary. Is this the hardest phase we'll face in our lives? It certainly feels like it. But can we overcome it? That's something only time will tell. Don't forget to vote ;)
