Lacey just paid off all her father's debts when she learns of a dying Grandmother, she did not know she even had out in Kentucky. After her grandmother 's funeral she is given a key to a trunk that she is told is the key to her future. In the trunk are old clothes that she decides to play dress up and while in the attic looking through the trunk, she finds a picture of a black horse with lightning a strike behind him. When a storm starts outside, she gets up to look out the attic window to see the same horse from the picture outside in the storm.
