Despite their intense tension and clashing personalities, Mei accepts this offer, hoping to find her place and purpose in life. However, as she begins to discover her abilities, Mei is struck by the Celestial Decay, a terrible curse that threatens to engulf her and turn her potential into chaos.

Meanwhile, Satoru uncovers that the Exorcist Council is orchestrating a plot to overthrow the established order, using cursed young women as instruments of chaos.
