Ascendant

Kai, is a low-level fighter in the city's Gladiator Arenas, forced to fight for survival in a society that values power above all else. But during a life-or-death battle, he accidentally unlocks a Forbidden Class-the Shadowborn, a class capable of manipulating shadows and bending time. The system immediately marks him as a threat, and secret organizations come after him to either control or eliminate him.
