Kiran Matek is a young Moroccan woman amid the second world war. Living in the USA was no longer an option, she needed to get to England and that quickly. It seemed the only thing to do was lie, lie about her age, lie about her ethnicity and lie about her sex.

Ending up with the likes of easy company was a blessing in disguise. Falling in love was a shock and acceptance was a laughable thought in a desperate time. But life dose have a way of playing tricks on people.
