It was a great chance for the audience to hear first-hand accounts of the wins, losses, mistakes, and successes from those who live and breathe the daily realities of business and entrepreneurship. It's never been easier to set up in business yet most businesses close up within the first few years (not so good). Whilst it's never been easier to start a business, most businesses close within a few years. To a packed house, they spoke about the 'real world' experiences of being an entrepreneur and how to thrive in the growing gig economy. Despite the somewhat glorified Silicon Valley narrative, it's not all ping pong tables, bean bags, and unicorns.
