Emma is a 20 year old university student at Cambridge, her whole life has been centred around her getting to where she is now, she is happy, confident and has her life all under control. She lives with her three best friends, Beatrice, Jack and Olivia. She has to deal with the twists and turns life throws at her and the consequences of her actions and decisions as she matures and grows on her own. Her mother and father live in a large house in Surrey, and her brother is in America studying at Harvard university. She wants to get a good career so focuses a lot on her education, but she is starting to realise that there is more to life than just materialistic ideals and is breaking free from societies expectations and is becoming her own person.
