Tessie

Tessie Carter is described, at best, as a hand grenade of a girl. She's free-spirited and a progressive thinker. Loved by teachers, not exactly loved by her peers, Tessie can be a bit lonely.
Until she meets James. James Roland, the newest addition to Tessie's school and her independent study proctor. He's young, gorgeous, and intellectual: everything Tessie can dream of. Their relationship grows stronger as time progresses. Risks are taken. Mistakes are made. And when Tessie starts to fall for her cover-up boyfriend AND James, all hell breaks loose.
