AU Kian Lawley spends most of his time hopelessly drunk at whatever bar he hasn't already been kicked out of. After his latest breakup, he's a total mess, looking for nothing but a casual hookup around every corner. He ends up at a gay bar on accident, getting countless amounts of phone numbers and hit on by nearly everyone in there. He averts his eyes and is sick of the constant attention, and lies and says he already has a boyfriend and he's in the bathroom. Feeling trapped, he claims the next person he sees is him. With a relentless player, no never really means no. He checks with the boy to make sure it's not a lie. As Sam Pottorff sits next to Kian, he whispers 'just go with it' and introduces his 'boyfriend' to the man. Sam goes along with the blatant white lie and takes it a step too far, inviting the man out to dinner with them the following night. Although Kian and Sam may hate each other now, faking something for so long becomes so natural, it starts to feel like it's real.
