It was always so disorienting going into a new Time - I was just a beginner so I didn't have the privilege of knowing the Era or Exigence for us Travelers to go. But we never had a Time where we didn't know our purpose. Or the Era. Until now, that is. Engulfed in a world that has a combination of old and new, I never appreciated how dangerous things were until it was too late.
