The Call is my third novel and is currently a work in progress. It is an unusual format in that each chapter is a discreet story with a specific protagonist, linked only to previous and subsequent chapters by a phone call or text. The first and last chapters; where a woman comes across a young man stood on a bridge; link back to one another, bringing together a chain of events that has stretched over 15 people in just a couple of hours. I would really appreciate feedback and ideas, particularly from any UK police officers who can give me feedback on the elements dealing with the suicide attempt, and also from anyone who can let me know, from their own or their families' experience, whether chapter 'The Refugee' rings true. I have obviously researched to try and ensure factual accuracy, but that is never a replacement for human experience! My first novel, The Soul Room, is available on Amazon, and my second, Return of the Morrigan, will be available from Christmas. Thank you, and I hope you enjoy reading The Call. I will upload chapters regularly so you can follow the narratives as they unfold. Corinna x
