Saving the Brooks

Society as we know it has changed, and it's for the worse. It works to where the rich are favored and adored, thriving off the poor and living as high class criminals, crooks. The "scum", as they like to call us live in the Brooks, a section designated for the poor, the lower class. Where everybody is seen as the scum scraped off of society's shoe, the creatures unworthy of the decency of even being viewed as humans. The Brooks is a scary place, dark, no electricity, no running water, no questions asked. It is a breeding ground for crimes, while the crooks are living in a fenced off portion of society, we are known as a means of entertainment. I decided to mix things up a bit.
