Cera Mackenzie has always been blunt. She's been that way for as long as she can remember. She tolerates life, tolerates her peers, and tolerates her parents.
Life is basically a tolerance.
So when a faerie follows her home from school, basically kidnaps her, and takes her to a world called Laerion where she's expected to accept her place as queen, Cera is all for it.
She meets her half brother, a snooty first cousin, and an army of elves and seems to well...tolerate them.
The fun starts when her cousin decides that she ought to be queen and tries to start an uprising. Now Cera's all in. She's done just being, she wants to fight for her throne.
And she's not even interested in being queen.
