"At first, I planned to use this-use them-to hurt you back. I thought I'd exact my revenge, inflict the same sense of loss upon you that you imposed upon me. But the closer we are to eachother, the bond strengthened, I found that revenge became an empty goal. The more I drew them in, the more I realized I couldn't sever our connection without drowning in guilt." His voice was low, almost a whisper that vibrated with both remorse and defiance. "Until you prove that you are truly sorry-and worthy of my forgiveness and that you yearn for me as much as you claim-until you are willing to risk everything to mend what we once shared, you don't get them back.
