Bloodling

The year 2483 was when it all changed. On June 11th, 2483, the first victim fell to the new species known as bloodlings. Bloodlings were created fifty years ago, they were the offspring of the vampire species and the unknown species. The unknowns have never been seen and if someone has seen an unknown... they were dead before they could even scream or run. Originally, the unknowns had been the most dangerous species on Earth but now the bloodlings have been deemed the most dangerous. Fifty years after the first sighting of the first bloodling, only a small portion of the bloodling population had been killed. There's hundreds... possibly even thousands of bloodlings alive and claiming at least one victim each day. The mortals know they have to fight back if they want to live in peace again causing them to form together to destroy the bloodling species. An eighteen year old girl, Kyra Jems, is stuck in the middle of this chaos. Kyra's ones of the best bloodling slayers known in the world but that also makes her a target. Her friends have tried to convince Kyra to go into hiding after she almost lost her life from a pair of bloodlings but she's refused each attempt they made. Nothing could change her mind, she knows what she has to do. Her brother's the only one who knows exactly why Kyra is refusing and everyone is turning to him for answers. There's only one problem with that... Kyra's brother went missing three weeks ago.
