The Baptism of Jesus at 30 years old

The baptism of Jesus, at 30 years old, not the birth of Jesus, was initially the most significant Christ -festival , of the Christian world .
The celebration of the Christmas event on the 25th of December, happened only in the fourth century A.D.(the year 354) , in Rome.
Prior to that historical date, the most significant Christ - festival of the Christian world was celebrated on the 6th of January and was the commemoration of the Baptism in the Jordan.
The true Christ - festival then , was not the celebration of the ordinary birth of the man who came to be known as Jesus of Nazareth but the descent of the divine Christ- Being on this Jesus . Through the Baptism -event, the Christ, Who was a Being belonging to a world beyond the earth, had come down from the heavens and united himself with human nature in the person of Jesus of Nazareth. By this momentous spiritual event on earth , new and quickening forces poured into earthly human existence.
This Christ- day was thus dedicated to the revelation of the Christ, ie..to remembrance of the Mystery that a heavenly force had united with the earth, and that through this intervention of the heavens the evolution of humanity had received a new impulse.
