The Land of Terra is split up into two sides: The Feared (inhabitants of the North) and who they call the Southlings, mongrel who the Feared had enslaved and are currently waging war with. This story follows a Southlings quest for creation, a slave trying to win his and his creed's freedom with intelligence, like a true Southling, rather than with brute force, as the Feared had currently been doing.
