Romance
Downtown Chicago is a dangerous place caused by the cold hearted, angry and life-threatening delinquents. This fact however, is the 18 year old, Alaska Harlow not aware of. Alaska lives in a small house with her father and little sister, only a few minutes away from the big-lights-city Chicago. Due to her family’s bad economy, Alaska studies, works extra outside of school and takes care of her little sister while her father is working. Her father is a well educated, smart and family loving man, who would do anything and everything for his daughters. Alaska’s little sister, Adelaide, is a 14 year old girl who is the pure opposite of her 4 years older sister. While Adelaide has two beautiful green emerald eyes, Alaska’s eyes are a cold ocean blue color. Adelaide’s hair is naturally the darkest color of black, while Alaska’s hair is the lightest color of brown. Adelaide loves dresses, Alaska never wears anything other than her worn out jeans. Adelaide is mentally sick and can never be cured, Alaska is healthy and blessed of being her sisters most important cure. But despite all of their differences, Alaska loves her sister more than anything in the whole world. But what happens when Alaska’s whole world turns upside down when she seeks help from the beautiful, mysterious teenage delinquent? This is not the typical romance story of a boy and a girl desperately falling in love. This is a story about a cold hearted, delinquent teenage boy with dangerously dark secrets, a troubled and terrifying past and numb to all feelings of humanity. This is a story of two broken, scattered hearts, wanting to be whole. Their love won’t be easy, beautiful or safe. Their love will be the hardest thing they’ve ever done, it will be a disaster and life-threatening dangerous. But one thing is for sure, it will be 100% real.

"What are you doing here?" I ask but it comes out as a sob. I don't want him, or anyone for that matter, to see me like this. I'm a wreck. Wyatt doesn't seem to mind though. He softly brushes the remaining tears from my face with his thumb. "I saw you run out of the canteen, green eyes. I couldn't just leave you here to cry because that would go against the tutor code." "Tutor code?" I ask, puzzled. "Yes, the tutor code. It states that a student must make sure his tutor is never upset or crying and if he does ever find her like this it's his job to make her smile at any cost," he tells me. "You just made that up." "Maybe I did but that doesn't matter. Come on," he says, extending his hand out to me. "Where are we going?" "You'll see." ~*~*~ Aurora is a normal seventeen year old, happy and content with life. However, this all changes the day her boyfriend of two years, James, breaks up with her. Naturally, she's crushed. The icing on the cake is why he did it. Apparently she's 'too boring'. Determined to prove him wrong, she strikes a deal with the school's notorious bad boy, Wyatt King. She'll tutor him in maths if he teaches her to be reckless, fearless and careless. Can Aurora overcome the odds and do what she planned? Or perhaps someone will stop her on her mission to win over James. Maybe this isn't as easy as she thought it would be. Maybe she takes things a little too far. And just maybe making a deal with the bad boy isn't such a smart idea. ~*~*~ *contains mature language* #9 in high school 20/02/19 #1 in young love 14/03/19 #2 in chicklit 27/03/19 #1 in heartbreak 08/04/19 #21 in teenfiction 26/08/20 #10 in romance 26/08/20 #1 in bad boy 02/04/21
