Now they were just bloodshot and strewn in a pile beside her lifeless corpse.

Shining Veins
I don't know how long I stayed there, kneeling to the ground and staring at my parents' corpses. Their blood stained most of my body as I rubbed my face trying to get it off. I furrow my eyebrows as I notice the drops of blood on the ground, not knowing if those were from my tears or injuries. The others have managed to distract them enough from hurting me, but I can't seem to get up and leave my parents alone. I hiccup as I look over to where the monsters that killed my parents are standing. My heart drops and my eyes widen as I see a familiar little girl with strawberry blonde hair being restrained. "W-What are you doing?!". I feel the panic settle in again. "LEAVE MY SISTER ALONE!". I whisper a 'no' as someone holds me back and I cry out as I feel the pain shoot up my arm from the strong hold. I try to see through my tears but can't tell who the guy is. I look over to my sister and notice they were holding another boy with us. The guard behind me sighs, and goosebumps run over my arms as he takes me over to what seems their leader before they start whispering. They both nod to each other before they start approaching us. The last thing I remember was the boy yelling "NO!" before darkness took me out.
The One I Knew
Moonlight glinted off of the sharp tip of the knife. It was clothed in the blackness of her dried blood. The cloaked figure curled his lips as he wiped the knife off using his jacket. Tonight he would be praised. Tonight he would be honored for his kill. She was on the top of the society's list. He didn't know why and frankly he didn't care as long as he got his pay. He sheathed his knife and took the girls' bloodied wrists in his hands. He dragged her into the open casket and locked it shut. As the midnight clouds began to cry tears, he shoveled dirt into the small hole where the casket lay. He threw the shovel and his blood covered gloves in the muddy duffel bag. Walking over the bridge he found various large rocks and shoved them in the bag, making it almost too heavy for him to carry. His dark, dangerous eyes gleamed as he threw the bag into the river and watched it sink into darkness.Complete
In Her Shoes
Then, something strange happened in that moment. Her face changed -- no that's not quite the word; it flickered, her blonde hair turned to blonde and matted dread locks with particles and ornaments weaved within them. Her nose nearly outgrew her own face and was covered in disgusting toad-like warts. The top of her black hood suddenly pointed even more and looked like a pointed black hat. I almost screamed. She was so ugly.... Jesse was your typical high school jock. Star quarterback, flawless record, chicks at his feet and a dad with so much money he could about buy the world. Oh yea. Jesse is a king. That is until a mysterious "witch" comes to the school and teaches him not to judge or be rude to another being again, unless He's walked a mile in her. .... shoes?Complete

Also outside our Kingdom lies the land of the creatures. There you will find werewolves, dragons, vampires and shifters. But they are blood thirsty beasts who kill anything that enters their land, or so we've been told. Our world as we know it is about to change and it's all up to me whether it changes for the better or worse. If I let the greater evil get me our world is over but I must find my strength and courage to over come all the trials I face.
