Adeline grew up falling in love with the idea of love itself. Between the romance books she read, the romance movies she saw, and the romance scenes taken place right in front of her, she can't help but hope that one day it will be her turn. Now at the age of 24, Adeline is still waiting for that special someone, the one man that will be able to turn over her life and give her what she has always wanted. The only problem seems to be the fact that it looks as though nobody wants her. What will happen when Adeline decides she's tired of her small town, packs her bags, and moves to New York City in hopes of finding all that she's ever dreamed of, and possibly more. _______________________________________________________________________ "Darling remember what I've always told you, love comes when you're least expecting it," my mother told me by the door, "so be prepared." Those were the last words my mom told me before I hopped on a taxi directed for the airport. I've gotten my romantic side from her, along with the love for classic romance books. Her words scared me because I think I've envisioned every possible love scenario in my head, so does that mean that the unexpected love will never reach to me? I left my town to get away, to start new. After a while living with the same people, the same neighbors, and the same acquaintances you get this sudden urge to break free and leave. This is exactly what I'm doing, giving myself the independence I so desperately need to find who I really am and hopefully find love in the meantime. This is where my new story begins, one chapter at a time.
