Scars aren't supposed to be shaped like swans and boys aren't supposed to be able to see into other dimensions. Girls aren't supposed to touch the stars and children able to run as fast as the wind. They all have one thing in common. The day they were born. The twenty-second. None have any birth records and they're bird shaped marks seem to have a pull on their abilities. Olivia Roscoe is a girl who's life is silent. Literally. She is deaf and that and the strange swan shaped scar on her collarbone are the only abnormal things about her. When her hearing suddenly begins to return she finds she's not so alone in her boring monotone world.

A person's life is shaped and moulded around their history and their future. Their memories and secrets create the person that they are, and their hopes and dreams create the person that they are destined to be. But what if you had no memories or secrets, no hopes or dreams. What if you lived namelessly, forgetting everything you knew every few days. Imagine if you had to find out who you were, where you were, and what your purpose was, and then try to live a normal life, despite not even knowing your own name. You're about to read the story of a girl who plans to do exactly that, before she has another blackout.
